The 12th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) to be held in Sept 18-21, 2015 in Nanning, China, will organize its traditional Agricultural Exhibition as was the case in previous years. It is the seventh time for the exhibition to be organized to stand independently at a CAEXPO sub-venue. It will showcase distinctive agro-based products from 10 ASEAN member countries and China to help create more business opportunities.

The 12th CAEXPO Agricultural Exhibition will have 600 indoor standard booths. Well ahead of the opening day of the exhibition, 403 companies have already applied for 773 booths, nearly 30 percent more than it can accommodate. About 60 percent of the applicant companies were represented at the CAEXPO before. They regularly come back to show presence in the exhibition, in a sign to highlight the benefits of the Expo to enterprises.

Meanwhile, custom-built booths will account for 35 percent of the total in a new record high. With more diversified program, events and highlights, this year's Agricultural Exhibition will shine remarkably.

A Gathering of quality products and brand enterprises

ASEAN and Chinese fishery and animal husbandry products, fruits, agro-based green products, foodstuffs, tea leaves and coffee will be on display, while brand enterprises from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan and other provinces in Chinese Mainland with high reputation and competitiveness will come together under one roof to showcase their products at the Agricultural Exhibition.

China-ASEAN Fishery & Animal Husbandry Products Show

This year marks the China-ASEAN Maritime Cooperation Year. Therefore, the China-ASEAN Fishery & Animal Husbandry Products Show will be held as one of the highlights of the Agricultural Exhibition to put the achievements made through bilateral cooperation in this area under spotlight.

ASEAN and Chinese distinctive aquatic & animal husbandry products and feeding technology will be showcased to provide more business opportunities for relevant enterprises, with a view to open a new chapter in bilateral cooperation between the involved parties.

China-ASEAN Quality Fruit Show

The China-ASEAN Quality Fruit Show, an annual fruit fair sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture of China, will take place as previously. ASEAN countries and China enjoy the benefits of their huge potential in fruit trade. After four years of development, the fruit show has become an indispensable part of the annual Agricultural Exhibition.

This year, the exhibition space of the fruit show will be twice as much as last year's. More and more enterprises actively explore the ASEAN market through the Agricultural Exhibition, which has become the most opportune and professional platform for ASEAN countries and China to enhance and deepen their bilateral cooperation in fruit trade.

ASEAN Coffee Show

ASEAN countries are major producers of fine coffee beans globally. Blessed with unique national conditions, ASEAN is home to well-known coffee bean varieties with high yield, good quality and unique taste, which enjoy a high reputation and huge market potential in China.

Brand coffee enterprises from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and other ASEAN countries will gather at the show to offer a rare experience for the participants to enjoy the flavor and splendid culture of ASEAN coffee.

Effective business promotion programs

A series of business promotion programs including the China-ASEAN Meeting on Agricultural Materials Cooperation 2015, China-ASEAN Quality Fruit Promotion Program and trade matching programs for food packaging machinery will be arranged during the Exhibition in an effort to provide more market intelligence and create more business opportunities for the participating enterprises.

Comprehensive business-friendly services

The CAEXPO Secretariat will continue to provide shuttle buses between Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center and the Guangxi Exhibition Hall during the 12th CAEXPO to facilitate proceedings by buyers at the CAEXPO and the Agricultural Exhibition venues.

Volunteer college students will provide practical, professional and efficient etiquette services for the participants from ASEAN region. In addition, temporary direct charter flights between major ASEAN cities and Nanning will be operated as usual to facilitate the participation of ASEAN exhibitors and trade visitors.
