French cognac brand Camus signed a comprehensive and in-depth cooperation agreement with China's e-commerce giant JD in Beijing on Jan 7.

Camus will open the Camus JD flagship store and will cooperate with JD in branding, marketing, products, and channels.

Camus cognac has been produced by five generations of the Camus family since 1863. Currently Cyril Camus - the fifth generation of the Camus family - heads the company in eight countries on three continents.

"This is a significant step for Camus," said Camus. "This e-commerce strategy with JD can give exposure to and influence millions of Chinese consumers."
