No 965 bus, a new bus route in Liangjiang New Area, began operation on Oct 15, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The No 965 bus, which departs from Wanshou Fuju Community and the Yuelai International Exhibition Center, is the first bus line that goes directly to the main city.

The route of the No 965 bus is 16 kilometers long. It takes 40 minutes for the bus to run from its departure to its terminal. The fare is 2 yuan ($0.32). The bus stops at Wanshou Fuju Community, Jinshi, Huilong, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Chongqing Institute, Heyuan Family, Siyuan, Shawan, Dongyue, Taishan, Ma'anshan, Yanjiawan, Yuelai Primary School and the Yuelai International Exhibition Center.

The bus runs from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm at the Wanshou Fuju Community and from 7:10 am to 7:40 pm at the Yuelai International Exhibition Center. The bus will be available every 10 minutes in peak hours and every 15 minutes at other times.

Thanks to this new route, people have more choices when they want to go to downtown Chongqing.
