Song Zuying looks stunning in rehearsal

Spanish tenor Placido Domingo, Chinese pop singer Jay Chou and Chinese pianist Lang Lang joined glamorously-dressed Song Zuying at the Bird's Nest on June 29 to rehearse for tonight's kick-off of Song's summer concert series. [Photo: ent.ifeng.com] The Chinese soprano looked fabulous Monday evening as she rehearsed alongside her special guests Domingo, Jay Chou and Lang Lang.

Charm of China, her long-awaited concert series, will feature western and Chinese music and combine elements of traditional Chinese music with modern pop, classical piano and Chinese folk songs.

The star-studded show has already sold out about 60,000 tickets, with only 2,000 tickets were left as of Monday.

This will be the second time Song and Jay Chou take to the stage together, the first being their successful performance at the 2009 Spring Festival Gala.

Although traditional Chinese music will dominate the show, Song and Chou will pair up to offer a new sound and fresh interpretations of many old favorites.
