Zhangjiajie Tourism Bureau and Zhangjiajie Tourism Group Co, Ltd co-held a press release conference recently in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse to promote Yangjiajie’s unprecedented and magnificent peak walls, which will attract numerous visitors when further tourism development ends in March.

Yangjiajie is an important tourist destination in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, Zhangjiajie, Hunan province. It makes itself stand out due to about a dozen of paralleling giant and imposing stone walls with a history of nearly 380 million years, which are like naturally-formed great walls with different altitudes.

Compared with other scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, the 34-square-kilometer Yangjiajie is like a virgin land and draws less attention due to its steep mountains and inconvenient transportation. Many visitors to Yangjiajie are self-guided ones and outdoor tour fans.
