Soldier has brief encounter with wife

Ren Zhigang, a field artillery officer stationed in Southwest China's Yunnan province, and his wife Huang Wei met each other in Yunnan's Huangning county for the first time on January 24 after they got married in October.

Huang was told a day earlier that Ren and his fellow soldiers would pass by the county on their way to a military exercise.

She got up early and waited two hours until the troops arrived in the county and the couple was only able to talk for two minutes before they had to wave good bye to each other again.
