Guangzhou ramps up support for real estate
Guangzhou, Guangdong province, will offer subsidies to residents who buy a new home and sell an existing one, as the metropolis moves to support housing demand and stabilize its property market. The city has issued a package of eight measures, such as raising housing provident fund loan limits. Residents who buy a newly built commercial home by Dec 31 and sell a pre-owned home in the city within 12 months of the purchase registration date, may apply for the subsidy.
Logistics sector sees steady growth in Q1
China's logistics sector maintained steady momentum in the first quarter, with major indicators posting solid growth, according the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. From January to March, China's total social logistics value came in at 96.4 trillion yuan ($14 trillion), up 6.2 percent year-on-year based on comparable prices. The growth rate accelerated by 1.1 percentage points from the full-year level in 2025.
