China to strengthen public health system development

BEIJING - China will strengthen the development of the public health system, according to a government work report submitted Friday to the national legislature for deliberation.
The report stressed improving the direct-reporting and early warning systems for infectious diseases, increasing spending on vaccines, drugs and fast testing technologies, increasing mobile labs and strengthening the supply of emergency materials, among others.
