Zhou Xiaoji：Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice principal of Shanxi University

Zhou Xiaoji, was born in Jincheng in Shanxi province, in April 1971. He is a professor at the School of Information Science and Technology at Peking University and a doctoral supervisor -- and is now a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice principal of Shanxi University.

In 1992, Zhou obtained a bachelor’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Shanxi University.

In 1998, Zhou obtained a master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

In 2001, Zhou obtained a doctorate in Radio Physics from Peking University.

From 2001 to 2003, Zhou worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Information Science and Technology at Peking University, where he worked on cold atoms manipulation and precision measurement.

From 2006 to 2007, Zhou worked as a visiting scholar at the Cold Atomic Center at the Imperial College London for precision measurement research on atomic chips.

In 2010, Zhou was appointed a professor at the School of Information Science and Technology at Peking University.

Professor Zhou Xiaoji has long been engaged in Quantum precision measurements. He has published around 60 academic papers and participated in seven projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
