Han Yonghong: Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Shanxi University

Han Yonghong, male, was born in Wutai, Shanxi province in December 1967. Han is now a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Shanxi University, and an associate professor. He has a doctorate in engineering.

In 1991, Han graduated from the Department of Hydraulic Engineering of Taiyuan University of Technology.

In 2006, he obtained a Master of Laws in the Basic Principles of Marxism from Renmin University of China.

In 2013, he obtained a doctoral degree in environmental and hydraulic engineering from Taiyuan University of Technology.

From September 2016 to October 2018, he served as vice principal of Shanxi University, and since October 2018, he has been serving as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Shanxi University.

Han has published more than 20 academic papers and a monograph entitled "Quality Education for College Students", and co-compiled and published “Teaching and Learning Research on Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of Three Represents”.

Han also finished the project of the "Comprehensive Technology Research on Water Quality Protection in the Water Source Area of the South Main Line of Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project”, which won first place in the Science and Technology Progress competition held by the Shanxi Provincial Education Department and second place at the Shanxi Science and Technology Progress Awards.

In 2012, Han was awarded Shanxi province’s "May 1 Labor Medal".
